All You Need to Know About Name Image Likeness: Webinar with Expert Kristi Dosh

3 min read

The landscape of college sport has been transformed since legislation came into force four years ago allowing student-athletes to earn income from their name, images and likeness (NIL) rights. The market has seen exponential growth since commercial opportunities opened up and the accumulative value of student-athlete NIL deals is now worth an estimated $1.67 billion, with top earners generating more than $3 million dollars annually.

It is a hot topic for college athletes and FirstPoint USA is delighted to be bringing one of the leading lights of the NIL industry to one of our upcoming webinars. Kristi Dosh is the founder of the nationally recognised Business of College Sports, author of the recently published book ‘The Athlete's NIL Playbook’, and a renowned podcast host on the subject.

Our webinar with Kristi will delve into the details of NIL and the types of opportunities available for current and future student-athletes. We’ll discuss social media marketing, personal brand, merchandise, personal appearances and more, as well as agents, collectives and third-party platforms. The webinar will look at examples of successful NIL athletes, and how to successfully navigate this growing market, now worth an estimated $1.67 billion.
