FirstPoint USA is proud to become exclusive partner with the Independent Schools Association (ISA) in the category of “Studying Abroad”.
The three-year agreement is effective as of August 2020 and will enable FirstPoint to open up access to US scholarship opportunities for young people throughout 500+ of the UK’s best independent schools.
USA sports scholarship market leader FirstPoint, based in Glasgow and with offices in Manchester and London, will provide free consultancy for any young people within the ISA network interested in pursuing a scholarship as part of the agreement. Since being founded by CEO Andrew Kean in 2001, FirstPoint has helped more than 20,000 young people enjoy a new, life-changing journey as scholar-athletes at 2,500 of the best universities and colleges in the States.
Andrew Kean, FirstPoint USA CEO, said: “We’re genuinely thrilled to become an exclusive supplier to the Independent Schools Association and create pathways to US universities for its member schools. Across two decades we have an unrivalled track record of providing young people from independent schools throughout the UK with genuinely life-changing opportunities and this agreement will only enable us to extend that.
“The partnership includes working together around ISA’s excellent annual conference, exhibitions and numerous speaking opportunities – we very much look forward to those events and getting to know the wider ISA network in the months and years ahead.”
The Independent Schools Association (ISA) is the registered charity that represents the Heads of 541 of the UK’s best independent schools. ISA works closely with Headteachers and with other professional bodies to promote excellence in independent education.
