He's a teammate of former Ballon d'or winner Kaka as well as former AC Milan and Italy star Antonio Nocerino. He is also seen by some as one, if not the best young player in the MLS and already has 19 appearances for Canada. Of course we are talking about Orlando City's Cyle Larin who himself has been through the MLS Player Combine!
Cyle, who has an astonishing 31 goals in 59 goals for Orlando City was the first pick of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. The SuperDraft setup is similar to the draft you would expect in other sports in the USA. Players will attend the Adidas Major League Soccer Player Combine in Los Angeles in early January where their talent will be evaluated in three games over five days and individuals who impress will be entered into the SuperDraft.
Just recently we have had some incredible news that #FirstPointAthlete Jordan Wilson has been invited to the Adidas MLS Player Combine which provides him with the opportunity to secure a spot in the prestigious Superdraft! Jordan, alongside his brother Adam have dominated individually since arriving in the States with Jordan recently named in the All-Conference USA First Team for the third season in a row for his performances with the Kentucky "Wildcats"
Jordan will be competing with 53 other NCAA Division 1 players. We are confident here at FirstPoint USA that Jordan will make an impression and we hope that come the 13th January, we see Jordan up on stage being signed by a club. It is an incredible achievement regardless of what happens and Jordan, Adam and the rest of the family should be remarkably proud!
Best of luck Jordan...
