FirstPoint USA soccer scholarship recipient, Oliver Gore, who scored a school-record five goals on Friday for
Rocky Mountain College, against
College of Idaho.

The
Rocky Mountain College men's soccer team got five goals from Oliver Gore as they defeated
College of Idaho 5-3 at the Cascade/Frontier Red Lion Challenge on Friday afternoon at the Dwight Merkel Sports Complex.
Gore would open the scoring in the fourth minute when he finished from inside the penalty area after a long ball played in by Chris Jermy. The two would hook up again in the 12th minute when Jermy sent a cross inside the area that Gore finished to give
Rocky (5-0-1) the early 2-0 lead.
College of Idaho (0-3) would fight back to even after Brandon Smith hit a strike from 12 yards out off a delivery from Nicko Morena in the 17th minute. Four minutes later it was Yan Gioseffi on a penalty kick that would level the match at 2-2.
The lead was short lived as Gore notched the hat trick when he headed a ball over the keeper after a long ball that was played from the Rocky keeper Joachim Soderstrom n the 23rd minute. The lead would reach 4-2 at halftime when Gore dribbled down the middle of the field a fired a shot from eight yards out in the 41st minute.
The fifth goal of the afternoon for Gore came just four minute into the second half as he tapped in a Mikey Wall corner kick in the 49th minute.
College of Idaho got a goal from Gioseffi on a free kick from the top of the penalty area in the 86th minute to wrap up the day's scoring.
