Meet Barry
Barry brings a wealth of experience for playing, coaching and managing at the highest level of Scottish football. He began his career at Celtic, making his debut at just 17 and playing 22 times for the Parkhead club. After four years in Glasgow, he moved to Dundee where he quickly established himself as the club’s first choice right back in the Premier League, becoming club captain and going onto make 368 appearances over 10 seasons.
Following a successful playing career which also included spells with Partick Thistle and Morton, Barry returned to Dundee as U19s coach, before being appointed manager in 2010. He led the club for 3 seasons including an impressive 23-game unbeaten run and guiding the Dens team to second place in the Scottish First Division. He has also coached in the States managing UPSL side Pittsburgh City United for two years.
